Terms and Conditions

SING FOR FUN – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Sing For Fun choir memberships and workshops.
By booking or becoming a member, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following.

1. CHOIR MEMBERSHIP & PAYMENTS

Sing For Fun choirs operate on a monthly subscription basis only.
We do not offer pay-per-session or pay-per-term options.

Each term costs £108, paid in four monthly instalments of £27.

The three terms are:

  • Spring Term (January–April)

  • Summer Term (May–August)

  • Autumn Term (September–December)

By signing up for a Sing For Fun membership, you agree to:

  • Pay all four monthly instalments for each term you attend

  • Understand that stopping or cancelling payments mid-term does not remove the obligation to complete that term’s payments

  • Accept that if payments fail, your membership may be suspended until payment is resolved

If a payment fails, our system will attempt to collect it multiple times. Continued failure may result in automatic cancellation of membership until outstanding payments are cleared.

2. MISSED SESSIONS & ATTENDANCE

Sing For Fun memberships are not pay-per-session.

Your monthly subscription secures your place in the choir for the term, regardless of attendance.
As with a gym membership, fees remain payable whether or not you are able to attend every session.

We are therefore unable to:

  • Refund missed sessions

  • Credit missed sessions to future terms

  • Reduce fees for partial attendance

To support members who miss sessions, we provide:

  • Online learning materials

  • Weekly recorded rehearsal videos so you can catch up at home

3. PAUSING OR CANCELLING MEMBERSHIP

Memberships may be paused or cancelled between terms only, not part-way through a term.

To pause or cancel a membership for an upcoming term, written notice must be provided at least 14 days before the first payment of that term is due.

Current notice deadlines are:

  • Summer Term
    First payment: 1st May
    Notice required by: 17th April

  • Autumn Term
    First payment: 1st September
    Notice required by: 18th August

  • Spring Term
    First payment: 1st January
    Notice required by: 15th December

Requests received after these deadlines will apply to the following term.

We do not accept cancellations via WhatsApp, social media, phone, or in person.

4. EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that unexpected situations can arise.

Requests relating to illness, bereavement, or other serious circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of Hannah Baron trading as Sing For Fun.

5. WORKSHOPS & ONE-OFF EVENTS

All Sing For Fun workshops and one-off events must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Workshop places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workshops require a minimum number of participants.
If this minimum is not reached, Sing For Fun reserves the right to cancel the workshop and offer:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to another workshop or date

Workshop fees are non-refundable, except where a workshop is cancelled by Sing For Fun or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

6. BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT

Members are expected to:

  • Treat Sing For Fun staff and fellow members with respect

  • Uphold an inclusive, welcoming, and equal-opportunity environment

Any form of abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour (verbal or written) may result in immediate cancellation of membership without refund.

Sing For Fun reserves the right to refuse admission or cancel membership where misuse of the brand, materials, or intellectual property is suspected.

7. RECORDINGS & PHOTOGRAPHY

From time to time, Sing For Fun may take photographs or video recordings during rehearsals, workshops, or performances.

By joining Sing For Fun, you agree that this material may be used for:

  • Marketing

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Promotion of future Sing For Fun events

If you have concerns about this, please contact us in advance.

8. HEALTH & WELLBEING

By becoming a Sing For Fun member, you confirm that:

  • You are medically fit to take part in group singing activities

  • You are able to understand and follow instructions

If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or allergies that may affect your participation, please inform us at the time of booking.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY

Hannah Baron trading as Sing For Fun is not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Injury sustained before, during, or after Sing For Fun sessions or events

Members attend sessions at their own risk and are responsible for their own personal safety and property.

10. DATA PROTECTION

Any personal data held by Hannah Baron trading as Sing For Fun will:

  • Be stored securely

  • Not be shared or sold to third parties without consent

  • Be used solely for the purposes of running Sing For Fun

11. UPDATES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The most current version will always be available on the Sing For Fun website.
