Welcome to the Performance and Christmas Choirs, a group of Sing For Fun Members, both past and present who want to get together to perfect the songs and perform in public! The cost of joining the Performance choir is £3 per month (£36 per year), plus a little extra rehearsal time and effort to perfect and polish our songs so we can showcase the best of Sing For Fun.

what is included in my monthly subscription?

  • The £3 nominal fee covers costs of rehearsal spaces for the year
  • Covers your attendance at all spring, summer and Autumn performances, as well as membership to the Christmas Choir and performing at venues such as Highclere Castle, Shaw House and others.
  • Please note that performances requiring more detailed rehearsal and arranging/recording of new music (such as Tenors Unlimited) may incur further costs and will be judged on an event by event basis.
You can join the Performance Choir at any time, whether you are a regular, a new member, or were a member a while ago and have been taking a break. There will be some songs you will know or have learned before, and some you will need to learn from scratch, but rest assured we will have some extra rehearsals, and all the songs and parts will be uploaded to the Performers Area for you to practice and listen at your leisure.

Preparing for the Performances:
  • Please ensure you are familiar with your melodies and lyrics prior to performing. You will be allowed music and lyrics in front of you, but these should not be looked at or relied upon regularly.
What to Wear:
  • Please note, for all performances all Performance Choir Members are required to wear a Sing For Fun T-Shirt and/or Jumper. These can be bought directly from the website shop, by clicking here: http://www.singforfun.co.uk/shop/
  • Black trousers, black jeans or  black leggings on your bottom half, whatever you feel most comfortable in. Please make sure your trousers are BLACK and not navy, faded black or dark grey.
  • Comfy BLACK shoes as you will be standing for a period of time.
  • Always bring a warm and/or waterproof coat – we can’t guarantee the weather and at certain events, we may need to stand outside for a while before performing, so we will want to keep warm and dry in case of inclement weather!
What Else to Bring:
  • Your folder of music/lyrics
  • A bottle of water.
  • As little else as possible – I don’t know if there will be a secure place to leave our bags or valuables at either event, so it is better to bring as little as possible, or leave it with a loved one who’s come along to support.

The price for membership is £2.99 now and then £3.00 per Month.

Terms and Conditions

MEMBERSHIP

  1. All Sing for Fun Pay Per Term Workshops require full payment to be made prior on the day of registration.
  2. All Sing For Fun Monthly Subscriptions require four full payments for each of the three terms. By signing up for the monthly subscription, you agree to pay all four instalments for each term you attend, and understand that should you cancel your payments, your membership will immediately cease until a further payment is made.
  3. All Sing for Fun workshop numbers are limited. All places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
  4. All Sing for Fun Workshops require a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not achieved then all members will be fully refunded.
  5. All Sing for Fun course fees are regrettably non-refundable however, in extreme circumstances, fees paid maybe transferred to another workshop at our discretion.
  6. If for any reason we have to cancel a Sing for Fun workshop we shall notify you as soon as possible and shall offer a chpice of compensation, including but not limited to a full refund or a transfer to another workshop or venue of your choice.
  7. Members should be co-operative with both Sing for Fun staff and members, and uphold an equal opportunity environment. Any form of negative behaviour, whether written or verbal, towards Sing for Fun members or Sing for Fun staff will lead to cancellation of membership. In this case, membership payment will not be refunded.
  8. From time to time we may make video recordings and take photographs of workshops, performances and public performances. Sing for Fun reserves the right to use this material for website marketing and promotion of any future Sing for Fun workshops and events. By joining it is agreed that these images maybe used in relation to Sing for Fun.
  9. Sing for Fun reserves the right to refuse admission to any member who does not fill the requirements or who is deemed to join Sing for Fun to misuse their membership to access the intellectual property or brand of Hannah Baron trading as Sing for Fun.
  10. By becoming a Sing for Fun member, it is assumed that you are medically sound and have the ability to understand and take instruction. If you have any form of disability, medical condition or allergies, please inform us at time of booking.
  11. During a ten week term, Sing for Fun may provide additional facilities such as downloads, performance singer rehearsals and events. These are not part of the Sing for Fun membership and are provided solely at the discretion of Hannah Baron. Members who do not have internet facilities may not be able to access these additional benefits.
  12. For holidays we suggest you take out some form of cancellation insurance just in case you do need to cancel due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstances.
  13. By proceeding with any booking for a Sing for Fun workshop you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

  1. Hannah Baron trading as Sing for Fun is not responsible for damage to any person or personal belongings whilst attending any Sing for Fun workshop or event or before and after a workshop and event.
  2. Sing for Fun members are responsible for their own property and personal safety whilst attending any Sing for Fun event.

 

DATA PROTECTION

  1. Any personal or private information held by Hannah Baron trading as Sing for Fun will not be passed or sold to any external bodies or third parties without prior agreement from each member.
