Workshops

  10 Week Adult Workshops

These workshops are run each week for 10 weeks. They give the chance for people to find their singing voice in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. They help build your confidence in singing and give you the opportunity to sing as part of a group. No one has to sing by themselves and there is no audition to join. A wide range of genres are covered including pop, rock, traditional songs and musicals. Each workshop runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with a short break for coffee.

Beginners workshops are for anyone who wants to start singing and there is no need for any previous experience.

Intermediate workshops are for people who have already attended the beginners or previous Sing for Fun workshops. 

 Junior Show Choir 

For young adults aged between 12 and 21 years. Show Choir sessions are run each week for 10 weeks per term. They are fun, friendly and dynamic workshops aiming to motivate and inspire young people. They help build confidence and develop their singing. We look at harmonies as well as singing various genres of songs including pop, rock and musicals. Once a song is mastered choreographed movement is added. There will be the opportunity to take part in an end of year performance. No experience is necessary and no one will be asked to sing by themselves.

As a group participants are encouraged to respect the work and views of others as well as recognising their own personal contribution. There is no audition however participants are expected to be committed, enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to take direction.

 Luxury Weekend Workshops

We source stunning venues set in beautiful grounds which provide a luxurious backdrop for our Sing for fun Workshops. Enjoy singing as a group in a relaxed and friendly environment whilst being pampered with lovely food and lavish surroundings. There is no need to be able to read music and no-one will be asked to sing by themselves.

Absolute Beginners Weekends. These weekends are for anyone who has wanted to sing but not sure whether they can! Not only will you have fun but will be singing as a group by the end of the weekend!

Sing for Fun Weekends. Come and learn new songs and sing  as part of a group. Discover harmonies and have fun through singing. An uplifting weekend for all involved.

 Weekend Workshops 

Held locally in the Basingstoke area between 10.30am and 4.30pm Saturday and Sunday. There is no need to be able to read music and no-one will be asked to sing by themselves. Sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee are provided at lunchtime.

Beginners Weekends. Come and discover your singing voice in a friendly, fun group. You will go home singing!

Sing for Fun Weekends. Learn new songs and sing as part of a group. Discover harmonies and take part in an end of weekend performance!
